We are offering a paint thickness meter of the Polish company Prodig-Tech. The GL-1s+ meter is a product from the SUPER PLUS series, it has all the most important functions necessary for accurate measurement of paint coatings. The device has a backlit LCD display, on which the measurement results and the device menu are displayed. The device can be used on steel and galvanised steel sheets.

MEASUREMENT ASSISTANT ®

The MEASUREMENT ASSISTANT ® LED function tells the vehicle assessor whether it has had car body and paint repairs. When the function is activated, the meter indicates the status of the car body shop by means of an LED:

• LED doesn't light up - the paintwork is correct
• LED pulse - second coat of paint
• LED lights up continuously - putty or more coats of paint

The MEASUREMENT ASSISTANT ® function is only intended to help with the interpretation of the measurements, it cannot be the basis for a clear answer to the question of whether the car has undergone tinsmithing and painting repairs. Nevertheless, many car evaluators do not really know what a given paint thickness means, so this function is intended to help.
