Description

We offer you a paint thickness gauge from the Polish company Prodig-Tech. The GL-6H gauge is a product from the standard series, equipped with all the essential functions needed for accurate measurement of paint coatings. The device features a backlit LCD display, which shows measurement results and the device menu. The device allows measurement on steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, and can be adapted to other materials, e.g., copper.

MEASUREMENT FUNCTION RELATIVE TO REFERENCE POINT

The gauge is equipped with a function that allows us to perform measurements relative to a selected point, which is useful when comparing several test spots on a car. For example: we take a reference measurement on the left front door, and then we take measurements on other parts of the car. In this way, if we measure, for instance, on the roof and get a result of -10µm, it means that the roof has a layer that is 10µm thinner than the left front door. The reference point is not erased when the gauge is turned off. Additionally, this function can be used to program another type of sheet metal. When setting the reference point, it is enough to do this on a clean sheet, and from that point on, by selecting the material as "REF POINT," we will be able to take measurements on that sheet.
