We are offering a paint thickness meter Polish company Prodig-Tech. GL-6H meter is a product of the standard series, has all the most important functions necessary for accurate measurement of paint coatings. The device has a backlit LCD display, which displays the measurement results and device menu. The device is capable of measuring on steel, galvanised steel, aluminium and can be adapted to other types of sheet metal, e.g. copper.

MEASURING FUNCTION IN RELATION TO A REFERENCE POINT

The meter is equipped with a function thanks to which it is possible to perform a measurement in relation to a selected point, which is useful when comparing several examined places in the car. For example: we measure the reference point in the left front door and then take measurements in other parts of the car. Thus, for example, if you take a measurement on the roof and get a result of -10um, this means that the roof has a layer 10um thinner than the left front door. The reference point is not erased when the meter is switched off. In addition, this function can be used to program another sheet metal variation. When setting the reference point, it is enough to do it on a clean metal sheet and from now on, after selecting the material as "Reference point", we will be able to make measurements on such a sheet.
