We are offering the Prodig-Tech GL-6S+ thickness meter from the SUPER PLUS series. The device is used to measure the thickness of paint on car steel and aluminium sheets. The device has been equipped with MEASURING ASSISTANT functions with an LED diode, it tells the evaluator whether the car is repaired or not. Its purpose is to help in the interpretation of measurements, it cannot be the basis for an unambiguous assessment. When the function is on, the meter signals the status of the sheet metal with the LED

• LED doesn't light up - the paintwork is correct
• LED pulse - second coat of paint
• LED lights up continuously - putty or more coats of paint

The meter has also the function of MEASURING THE POINT OF REFERENCE , with which we can perform measurements in relation to the selected point. The function is useful when comparing several tested places in the car. For example, by selecting the car's roof as a reference point and then taking measurements on other parts of the car, for the door we obtain a result of -5um, which means that the door has a 5um thinner layer of paint than the roof. The reference point is not deleted when the meter is switched off. Moreover, this function is used to program a different variety of sheet metal - other metals. When setting the reference point, this must be done on pure sheet metal and from now on we will be able to take measurements on such sheet metal as a reference point.

The device shows the measurement and all functions on the LCD display. It has a calibration function, the zero plate is included in the set.
