MPPS v18 Diagnostic Interface

We offer a professional diagnostic interface MPPS v18 – a tool for modifying FLASH memory in engine control units (ECU). It allows for increased power, torque, and the removal of the DPF filter.

The interface works on most computers with a USB port. MPPS v18 supports many types of controllers, including:

What is Chiptuning?

Chiptuning is the electronic enhancement of engine power by modifying settings in its controller (ECU). This improves the car's performance – the vehicle becomes faster, more dynamic, and in many cases, also more economical.

Car manufacturers leave a certain power reserve that is not utilized in factory settings. Every car is equipped with an ECU, which is a computer that controls the engine's operation under various road conditions. The default parameters are configured for maximum vehicle durability, not for its full power and torque potential.

How Does the Interface Work?

Connect the interface to the OBD2 port in the car, read the contents of the controller's memory, modify it in a dedicated program (e.g., WinOLS), and then upload it back. You can use ready-made memory maps that have been previously prepared and tested. The result is a noticeable increase in power – even by several dozen horsepower – without interfering with the vehicle's mechanics.

The interface supports, among others, DDE4 controllers in BMW cars and automatically calculates Checksum in EDC17 systems.

• Advanced recovery functions – in some cases, the interface can recover ECUs that other tools cannot even connect to.
• Full or partial read and write – if the controller allows, the user can choose the range of operations.
• Reading and writing speed adjustment – the ability to adjust the data transmission rate.
• Writing “changes only” functions for faster programming (when supported by the ECU).
• Automatic detection of K / CAN lines – with the possibility of forcing a specific communication method.
• Temporary immobilizer bypass – allows flashing in “bench mode” in ME7 systems.
• Startup mode support – for ECUs based on C167 and ST10 processors.
• EEprom support – the ability to read and write EEprom data in selected controllers.
• TPROT level check – for VAG MEDC17 ECUs, without the need to open the controller.

STARTUP MODE HANDLING MODULE FOR CONTROLLERS WITH TRICORE PROCESSOR

• Automatic detection of ECU and processor type – the entire process takes place without user intervention.
• Reading and writing EEPROM, IROM, XROM memory – where possible and supported by the ECU.
• OBD TPROT patch – allows flashing of ECUs with active TPROT protection (currently only VAG units are supported).
• Checking TPROT / DS activity – without the need to open the controller.
• Support for Bosch controllers – up to TP12 security level inclusive.
• Support for Siemens controllers – in versions without password protection.
• Unlocking VAG Simos PCR and Simos 8 controllers
• Automatic checksum correction – for Bosch MEDC17 controllers.
