Basic step-by-step operation

1. Connect the tester to the vehicle's standard 16-pin OBDII socket.
2. Turn on the ignition.

Lack of automatic recognition by AutoVIN does not automatically mean lack of compatibility – the vehicle can be selected manually.

Clearing a fault code does not remove the physical cause of the fault. If the problem persists, the code may reappear.
