CR Pro has nine most commonly used service functions for daily vehicle maintenance:

• EPB / Brake Pad Reset – handling the electronic parking brake and resetting after brake pad replacement.

AutoVIN – quick vehicle identification

The AutoVIN function allows automatic reading of the VIN number and recognizing the compatible vehicle upon connecting the tester. This enables quicker diagnostics and reduces the risk of selecting the wrong model.

If AutoVIN does not recognize a specific car, the vehicle can be selected manually. Lack of automatic identification does not automatically mean a lack of diagnostic capabilities.

Support for modern CAN FD protocol

iCarsoft CR Pro supports the CAN FD – Controller Area Network Flexible Data-rate protocol. This is a modern communication standard used in increasingly newer cars.

Lifetime free updates

iCarsoft CR Pro does not require payment of an annual subscription. The manufacturer provides lifetime free software updates.

Updates are performed via a PC using the included TF card reader. The device does not require a Wi-Fi connection.

Subsequent updates may expand the database of supported vehicles, add new protocols, and improve compatibility with controllers.

The range of available diagnostic and service functions depends on the specific brand, model of the car, year, target market, engine, equipment version, and applied ECU controllers.

Not every one of the 9 service functions is available in every vehicle. Before purchasing for a specific car, we recommend checking compatibility based on the exact model, year, engine version, and VIN number.

CR Pro does not have bidirectional control / active tests. These functions are available in higher models such as CR Pro+ and CR Pro S.

The tester does not replace the manufacturer's factory software for full online programming, firmware updates for all controllers, or operations requiring access to the vehicle manufacturer's servers.

Clearing a fault code does not remove the cause of the fault. If the problem persists, the code may reappear.
